  • Red Light Legal – Red Light Legal is a fledgling organization that provides direct legal services, legal representation, community education, and policy advocacy to sex workers in all corners of the industry. Utilizing harm-reductionist and anti-oppression methodologies, Red Light Legal is the first constituency-led legal organization providing services to this marginalized population.

  • Sex Workers Project – The Sex Workers Project provides client-centered legal and social services to individuals who engage in sex work, regardless of whether they do so by choice, circumstance, or coercion.

  • Urban Justice Center of NYC Sex Workers Project
  • Sex Worker Right to Know Manual (2014) – This manual is a project of the National Lawyers Guild San Francisco Bay Area Chapter; many additional individuals and organizations made valuable contributions, including the St. James Infirmary and Just Cause Law Collective.
  • SWOP USA Free Legal Clinic for Sex Workers – The SWOP-Chicago CALA Clinic is a free, full-service legal clinic for individuals currently or previously involved in adult industries/sex work and people profiled as current or former sex workers. It provides a wide-range of services from advice and community legal education to representation.

  • TJI Justice Project (CA) – The mission of TGIJP is to challenge and end the human rights abuses committed against transgender and gender variant/non-conforming people, primarily those in CA prisons, jails and detention centers

    Advocacy, Health, Safety & Support Resources for SWers

  • Red Umbrella NJ – An excellent compilation of guides for sex workers of all kinds to ensure safety and health.
  • HIPS (Washington D.C) -HIPS promotes the health, rights, and dignity of individuals and communities impacted by sexual exchange and drug use due to choice, coercion, or circumstance. HIPS provides compassionate harm reduction services, advocacy, and community engagement that is respectful, non-judgmental, and affirms and honors individual power and agency.
  • Desire Alliance – The Desiree Alliance is a diverse, sex worker-led network of organizations, communities, and individuals across the US working in harm reduction, direct services, political advocacy and health services for sex workers. We provide leadership and create space for sex workers and supporters to come together to advocate for human, labor and civil rights for all workers in the sex industry.
  • SWOP National (US) Support Line – Confidential support line for sex workers, exploited persons, allies, activists and organizers. Call for general support, advice, someone to talk to, crisis counseling, referrals, and information about safety and legal rights.
  • Butterfly (CA) – Asian and Migrant Sex Worker support network formed by sex workers, social workers, legal and health professionals. It provides support to, and advocates for, the rights of Asian and migrant sex workers. The organization is founded on the belief that sex workers are entitled to respect and fundamental human rights. Butterfly asserts that, regardless of their immigration status, Asian and migrant sex workers deserve the respect of any other worker.
  • SWOP Behind Bars – SWOP Behind Bars provides community support for incarcerated sex workers and connects incarcerated sex workers in US prisons and jails to the sex worker rights movement. They work to support and build relationships with individuals most affected by these laws and provide incarcerated sex workers with information, linkages to individualized, comprehensive case management, and skills they need to become leaders and partners with the sex worker rights movement.
  • RedTraSex – RedTraSex is composed of organizations of female sex workers and former sex through which workers we represent ourselves. Our Network consists of organizations from 15 countries (Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Dominican Republic) and hopes to incorporate many companions more who they want to be part of our collective.
  • Streetwise and Safe – SAS builds and shares leadership, skills, knowledge and community among LGBTQ youth of color who experience gender-based violence and discriminatory policing practices, particularly in the context of the policing of poverty and homelessness.

  • Adult Web Law – Legal Information and Resources for running an adult website.
  • ModelCentro – Start a pay site little overhead and very no advanced graphic design knowledge needed. Be your webmaster, ModelCentro handles billing and setting up affiliates. Create and Upload content, perform live shows and host a blog. What I like the most is unlike most free to make/maintain performer sites this one has no intrusive popup/ pop-under ads for other services.
  • Restricted to Adults – A was to self-label your adult content site as inappropriate for children.
  • The Little Pink Book – A directory of Artists, Blog& Resource sites, Content Sites, Dungeons, Graphic & Web Designers, Make Up Artists, Photographers & Payment options for Sex Workers created by a fellow sex worker. This is part of the KinkKult site which is a Sex Positive clothing line for the kinky and proud!
  • Copypants –  They provide copyright protection for photographers and artists using image recognition software and simplifying the copyright process.

 Networking and Communities

  • The National Association for the Advancement of Science & Art in Sexuality – A paid membership restricted community of sexuality professionals; this includes anyone from advocates, performers to chemical scientists who make adult products.  Membership comes at three levels, Apprentice, Professional, and Executive.
  • StripperWeb – A forum for Strippers, Cam Girls and other Sex workers – there are parts of the site for SWers and there are also non-SWers on the forum.
  • SexWorkerHelpfuls – A tumblr community of helpful content for Sex Workers
