Toy Review: Chic Hide-a-Vibe

Today’s review Chic Hide-A-Vibe ,  it’s very basic vibrator that is designed to be able to be hidden in plain sight. This toy promises to blend into your vanity or desk or wherever you might keep your toiletries. This toy comes in either black with chrome detailing.  The Hide-a-Vibe comes in what looks like a nondescript perfume bottle or make-up brush case.

totally blends in and looks natural on my desk.

I actually had a few people come over to test if anyone would think there was something “fishy” about the Hide-a-Vibe.  My boyfriend didn’t notice it…but he also didn’t notice or didn’t say anything about the big old Yellow Peril Dildo that was also on my desk.  One of my girls came over and instantly went to the vibe to try to “smell” the perfume because she couldn’t recognize the bottle.  So it’s a great cover unless your friends are as nosey as mine.

This vibe is made of body safe plastic with a smooth almost velvety finish. It runs on only one AA cell. The dial on the bottom controls the intensity, but it doesn’t do much. You have to turn it ever so slowly to get much of an increase there’s not that much difference between low, medium and high. For something running on only one cell I was surprised that it had a bit of power behind it.

on/off and intensity control.

It seems a bit counter intuitive to make a ninja vibe that screams like a wounded samurai.   I assume this is for someone that just wants to hide the vibe and has the opportunity to use it when no one is around. Everyone is going to know what’s when you turn this little guy on.  Its almost small enough to be put in the pocket rocket range , but at 4 1/2 inches long and a sleek 1 inch wide – its not quite there.

Using this toy didn’t have me losing any of my major senses; it provided an okay clitoral orgasm. Nothing all that special and quite frankly I think a good old fashion finger rub would have gotten me off quicker.

Pro: Blends into your vanity or suitcase and vibration isn’t weak.

Cons: vibration modes don’t pan out and its rather loud.

Bottom Line:  You can hide it in plain sight but this little lady kicks up too much of a racket to be counted as discrete.

The Chic Hide-A-Vibe is a Meh.

  1. my lesbian friend love that toy, she can forget anything but not this one. She bring it  anywhere she goes…vibrators are her best best-friend.
