The film explores modern society’s treatment of women with a focus on sexual bullying aka “Slut Shaming”. Using interviews with survivors, family members, professors, authors , doctors and volunteers dissect and define the phenomenon of the “slut”.

TWiB After Dark Returns with a BANG!

I’m so happy that I’ll be back on track with my podcast TWiB After Dark! Last week I recorded the first episode of 2016 and I think we started the year off with a bang , well not so much an real bang. New (ish) Interviews with ME!

So its been awhile. I’ve come down with a very bad case of “Everything I Write is Poops” but working on that to bring you guy more delicious content. If you have missed me I wanted to give you a chance to listen or read to some of my latest interviews.

I had the honor of being interviewed by the Asian American Writers Workshop’s Ester Wang, talking about everything from race to sex work and my love of New York City.

Yellowface and Asian America’s Porn Problem

Yellow Face isn’t okay, not on stage, not on Halloween and not in film – and yes that includes porn. So if you are going to have any hand in creating a porn “parody” of smash hit show that has a fan favorite character who is Korean American, hiring a white actor taping his eyes back and smearing what looks like cheeto dust on his face is just not going to sit well with people.

Not So Naked Thoughts on Exxxotica NJ 2012

I want to conduct better interviews with better equipment. I’ve always been using a 40 dollar mic, and a tiny point and shoot HD cam which has been working but I want to step it up! I want to be able to do interviews on and off site with better lighting and a nicer background. I also would love to be able to podcast interviews and news stories. I’m a journalist at heart and there’s no denying it. I want to bring high quality content that will have the ability to better discuss important topics.

Get Your Politics off My Tits and Outta My Vag!

Wednesday marked the start of Black History Month. This is the one month that is set aside to uplift Americans who are part of the African Diaspora. Americans that disproportionately lack comprehensive health care and as a result are more likely to die from lack of screening for diseases. This is why I was more than shocked to find out that Susan G Komen Foundation picked yesterday to announce they they will cut funds to Planned Parenthood an organization that gave almost 170,000 free breast exams to women in lower income areas of the US, women who would otherwise have never been screened.
