UnSlut: A Documentary Film is this 2016 winner in PBS’s To The Contrary All About Women & Girls Film Festival.  The film explores modern society’s treatment of women with a focus on sexual bullying aka “Slut Shaming”.  Using interviews with survivors, family members, professors, authors , doctors and volunteers dissect and define the phenomenon of the “slut”.

We talked about the new UK porn bans, 3-D printed sex toys, and had an in depth discussion on supporting and boosting the voices of women of color in the sexual heath field and how our absence directly impacts society’s view on human sexuality.

Many moons ago I got an interesting Ask in my tumblr. While this submission wasn’t actually a question so much as a person trying to BLOW MY MIND with their amazing logic. I thought I should share it.

A close friend of mine  linked me to a character study that appeared on the NYTimes.com ,  profiling a 52 year old sex worker in Hunts Point New York.   The  short profile story and video (after the jump)  ,in my opinion, was a rare change of narrative that most are used to when it comes to sex work in America.

Anal Sex 101 with TS Star Wendy Williams

I was perusing Good Health and found a interesting article on the origin of the Fleshlight.
